Expectations: I think the short stories could be about figuring out how to live the ideal life. Figuring out what the dream is, and how to make it come true. I think the main characters are vulnerable unsecure people, who need help figuring out how to improve their lives. When we first meet them, they probably have messed up lives and do not know who they really are. The cut-out-dolls remind me of people with lots of appearances.
I expect short stories with lots of hidden points and figurative language, like the collage could symbolize putting the pieces of life’s puzzle together.
